Cranio-Sacral Therapy with Claire Davis
CranioSacral work addresses restrictions in the CranioSacral system – the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. As this system directly impacts the central nervous system, CranioSacral Therapy helps the body release the effects of stress naturally and restores balance, thereby limiting any sensory, motor or neurological imbalances that may be present.
Carried out in the delivery room or within the first days of life, CranioSacral Therapy can potentially reduce a wide variety of difficulties, many of which may not become apparent until your child is in school. Often suckling or colic problems can be relieved with just a few sessions.
For Mom this gentle therapy helps with the enormous shifts and changes that take place during pregnancy and following the birth. This can be a challenging time and aligning the CranioSacral system can assist the body adjust and restore quickly and naturally, helping Mom to have a greater sense of wellbeing.
Claire works with both Mom and baby individually, and finishes the sessions with Mom and baby together, which is often a beautiful time of stillness and rest for both.
