Dr.Kelley Valle, MD OB/GYN

Dr. Kelley Valle, is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) who owns a private medical practice in Key West, Florida.

Originally from Omaha, Dr. Valle received her undergraduate training at the University of Nebraska, where she received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. From there, she moved to the University of Vermont to attend medical school, and then, continuing onward, transferred to the University of Illinois, in Chicago, to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Kelley and her husband Robert, an F-16 pilot in the National Guard, are both very active people who firmly believe in the benefits of exercise. Both also enjoy all types of outdoor activities.
Like most contemporary OB-GYN's, she is well schooled in the areas of general primary care as well as in the more highly specialized areas of gynecology and obstetrics. Her expertise includes high risk obstetrics, infertility, pre-natal and post-natal exercise, nutrition, endocrinology (hormones and related issues,) and urogynecology (urinary incontinence.) Her patients span the full range from adolescents to post-menopausal women.

One of Dr. Valle's special interests is primary care. The role of the gynecologist is crucial because it provides specialized knowledge, not only of common health concerns, but more importantly, of special issues that are specific only to women. The gynecologist, as a primary care giver, is in a truly unique position to give full and comprehensive health care to women of all ages.

Dr. Kelley has two boys she birthed naturally, her first son, Fin, was born at Babies by the Sea Birth Center. She had been practicing yoga for many years. Once pregnant, she used the techniques taught in the class and found that pre-natal yoga had positive impact on her health and wellbeing during her pregnancy, and a profound impact on her birth experience.
